reason why latvia is the bomb #8: the sandwich grill
i got this from my roommates as a christmas gift. needless to say, it was a wonderful gift. and it is one that i hope will continue to keep giving for many years to come. yum.
That's what I'm talking about...The Sandwich Grill!
A couple of good pieces of bread...thick slab of siers, maybe a slice or two of salami....crank it down tight and get a good scalding on each side, then top it off with some real Latvian mayo. You've got yourself something that is almost as good as my favorite...the fold-over sandwich (which is not heated of course). Happy New Year!
